Oratorical Contest. JLMBC Youth Ministry is looking for youth in grades 6th-12th to participate in the James F. Wertz Oratorical Contest for 2025. Parents, if you are interested in your child participating, please contact Sister Tammie Jackson or Sister Virginia Wall for more information. 




Food Bank Distribution. The Food Bank Distribution will be Thursday, April 3rd from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.



Youth Ushers Pizza Party!! Attention Parents and Youth Ushers!! There will be a Pizza party for Youth Ushers on April 19th at The Panther Branch Rosenwald School. The start time for the party is 11:00 am and it should end by 2:00 pm. Parents be sure to bring your kids to what will be a fun event.



Youth Easter Egg Hunt. Attention Parents! There will be an Easter Egg Hunt on April 19th starting at 1:30 pm for youth of ages. Please be sure to bring your youth to Juniper Level on that day. There will be fun and laughter as we watch the kids trying to find the eggs. Juniper, please assist with the Easter egg hunt by donating candy filled eggs for the occasion. Due to some children having peanut allergies, please do not add peanuts to the easter eggs. If you have any questions, please contact Jeanette Sanders. Volunteers are needed. If you can volunteer with the Easter Egg hunt, please contact Jeanette Sanders.

The JLMBC 2025 Academic Scholarship Banquet will be held on June 21st from 3pm-5pm at First Cosmopolitan Church which is located at 1515 Cross Link Rd. Church family, you are invited to join us as we celebrate our youth and their academic achievements.  Early bird tickets are $10 per person if purchased before May 31st.  After May 31st tickets will be $15. You can RSVP on the church website. Parents, each of our youth will receive 2 complimentary tickets. Any additional tickets will be $10 if purchased before the deadline. JLMBC Friends & Family Day. Juniper, we will have our Annual Friends & Family Day on Sunday, April 27th for all three services. This is a friendly competition that everyone can participate in by seeing is you will be the member who can invite the most Family & Friends. A winning member will be recognized at each service and your name added to the Friends & Family plaque. We will also recognize the Friend or Family who travel the furthest and who is the oldest that joined on us on that day. Looking forward to what will be a fun day!!!




JLMBC Covenant Keepers (Couples) will be going as a group to see The Ultimate Motown Tribute! This program is paying tribute to legendary icons of Motown. Four talented performers will dance and sing along with an amazing six-piece horn band, transporting you back in time to one of the most influential periods of American musical history. Soul Music is not just our past...it's The Legacy! So, Covenant Keepers, please join us!!! Transportation will be provided. The bus will leave from the Juniper Level parking lot at 3:30 pm. If you are driving, please arrive no later than 5:45 pm. Date: Saturday, August 16, 2025. Time 6:00 pm Location: The Barn Dinner Theater 120 Stagecoach Trail Greensboro, NC 27409. THE DEADLINE TO PAY IS FRIDAY, JULY 18, 2025!!!



 

 Juniper and the “Baptist Build Coalition” will join with 8 other faith coalitions for the “Beloved Build” of homes in Raleigh and Clayton. Juniper has committed to provide volunteers for the following dates and the listed locations: April 5 –  Clayton (Stone Creek), April 26 – Clayton (Stone Creek), May 24 -  Raleigh (Old Poole Place), July 12 -  Raleigh (Old Poole Place), July 26 -  Raleigh (Old Poole Place)

We need your help in volunteering to help Habitat build these affordable homes for deserving families. No building experience is required for volunteers. If you wish to volunteer, go to the Habitat website: habitatwake.volunteerhub.com to create an account, if you haven’t volunteered before and sign up for the date/dates you wish to volunteer. If you have any questions about volunteering, please call the church office or contact Deacon James McNeill at 919-395-0996. Thank you for your willingness to help build these homes for deserving families.

Obtain your Blue Card. There is an opportunity for training for you to get your Blue Card. Once you have your Blue Card you will be able to go into any prison to accompany Pastor on speaking engagements and other opportunities for entry. If you would like to participate in this training, please contact the office. You can sign up for training in May. Date and Time TBD. There are forms that must be completed prior to the training and you can download them when you sign up on the website.



Fourth Pastoral Anniversary. Juniper Level, you are invited to join our very own Pastor Regeland Jones as she celebrates her Fourth Pastoral Anniversary on Sunday, May 18th @ 4:00 pm.  The celebration will be right here at Juniper Level MBC. The guest speaker will be our very own Pastor, Rev. Dr. Jeffrey B. Robinson. Please join us as we celebrate her 4 years as a Pastor.


Shaw Day. Rev Rochelle will the guest speaker on April 27th @ 10:00 am at Oak City Baptist Church. The address is 720 Method Road in Raleigh.   

Mother’s Day. Rev Rochelle will be the guest speaker on May 11th @ the 10:00 am service for Covenant Life Fellowship Mother’s Day program. The address is 4720 Forestville Rd, Raleigh.

Woman’s Auxiliary Statewide Leadership Workshop. The Woman’s Auxiliary Statewide Leadership workshop will be during the Mid-Year Session. Missionary Annual Day. The Poplar Springs Christian Church Missionary Ministry cordially invites us to join them as they celebrate their Missionary Annual Day on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at 10:00 am during their morning worship service.

Scholarship Opportunity. The Raleigh Chapter of Chums, Incorporated is pleased to offer a scholarship opportunity to high school seniors, residing and attending school in Wake, Johnston and Harnett Counties with scholastic standing from a 3.0 GPA or above, and a demonstrated record of community service and leadership are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Students must provide documentation of acceptance from a four-year college/university or two-year community college and show verification of enrollment before the scholarship is awarded. The Raleigh Chapter scholarship amounts range from $500 to $2,000 payable to the recipient for books and/or other college related expenses. Juniper Level App. Please be sure to download the Juniper Level App. You can download from Apple App Store or Google Play.



Volunteers Needed. Volunteers are needed to help with the Produce Pickup/Community Hub (every 4th Thursday from 5:00pm-7:00pm & every 2nd Saturday from 12:00pm -2:00pm), Food Pantry (every 1st &3rd Thursday of the month 9:30am- 11:30am), Produce Truck (every 3rd Monday of the month starting at 9:30am), Panera Bread and Starbucks (every Sunday morning beginning at 7:00am). No sign up or registration needed you can just come out and volunteer.

Youth Ministry Volunteers Needed. If you are interested in serving in the youth ministry or working with the youth, please contact the interim youth Pastor Renee Robinson at 252-714-2009 via text message with your name and email information.



Call for Volunteers. If you like working in a garden, planting vegetables, growing fresh food, then we need you. It is time to start working in the Community Garden behind the Rosenwald School. If you would like to be a part of this endeavor, please contact the church office to have your name added to the list.



Corporate Prayer is every morning at 6:30 am and every evening at 6:30 pm. Corporate prayer is at 6:30 am; 12:00 noon and 6:30 pm on Wednesdays. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. The dial number is 717-908-1868. The Access code is 692342.

Act of Kindness: Adopt-A-Senior. Bring a personal touch to Seniors by directly providing them with some outside contact as well as with gifts to let them know they are loved and not forgotten. Will you adopt a senior? As an Adopter, you must be committed, obligated, dedicated, dependable and accountable to the senior you adopt. Whatever a senior’s needs you will be there to assist. If you are interested, please contact Betty Thomas, or call the Church Office.



Food Pantry is held every 1st & 3rd Thursday of the Month from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Produce Truck distribution is held every 3rd Monday of the Month starting at 9:30 am. For more information, please contact Deacon Wilbert Clark at 919-522-8012.

Counseling Ministry. Juniper Level Missionary Baptist Church now offers a no-cost, confidential Counseling Ministry. If you need of or know of someone that needs these services, the number is 919-664-0931. To ensure confidentiality, the sessions can only be scheduled by calling this number. A session cannot be scheduled through the Church Office.
