Attention Juniper Family! The JLMBC Youth Ministry is excited to announce that we are planning a trip to visit the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. October 17th! This will be a wonderful and exciting trip. If you're interested in receiving more information, please complete the interest form link found here. This will also be provided via church text

African American Festival 2026. The African American Cultural Festival of Raleigh and Wake County is committed to uniting, engaging and educating a diverse community through the celebration of the African American Culture as expressed through the arts. The festival will be held on Labor Day Weekend, September 5th - September 6th, 2026, in the heart of downtown Raleigh. Juniper Level will be a vendor again this year and we need your help. Can you please donate water starting August 4th in the church Fellowship Hall. We will collect water through September 4th. Our goal is 500 bottles of water!!!
Storage Shelter Clean Up. Calling all willing!! We will have Storage Shelter cleanup on Saturday, September 19th starting at 8:00 am. Please meet in the church parking lot at the brown shelter.
Faith and Fitness. Faith and Fitness has been delayed to Thursday August 27th, Faith and Fitness will meet both in person and via Zoom. Remember, the program encourages active aging and has a goal of reducing risk of falls and injury and promoting overall health. More information to come!!! We would love to receive feedback from you. Ongoing Announcements
Silent Testimony Ministry. Calling all youth and young adults! Come be a part of the Silent Testimony Mime Team Ministry and worship God with us through creative movements and/or flags. We meet on Monday nights 6:30 pm-8:00 pm. We would love to have you! For more information, please contact Shea Bethea at 919-827-2168.
Mass Choir has returned. The Mass Choir has returned, and choir practice is every Tuesday at 7:00 pm. Male Choir is every Tuesday at 8:00 pm. If you want to be a part of the choir, please come out and participate. You can join at any time.
Youth Church. Parents, Youth Church is every second Sunday at 11:00 am. The ages are K to 17. Youths in K to 3rd grade meet in the upstairs classroom at the church, while youths in 4th grade to 12th grade meet at the Panther Branch Rosenwald School. There is a lot of fun, laughter, and fellowship while they learn about God and the Bible. Parents, please bring your children to these exciting classes on the 2nd Sunday of each month.

Volunteers Needed. Volunteers are needed to help with the Produce Pickup/Community Hub (every 4th Thursday from 5:00pm-7:00pm & every 2nd Saturday from 12:00pm -2:00pm), Food Pantry (every 1st &3rd Thursday of the month 9:30am- 11:30am), Produce Truck (every 3rd Monday of the month starting at 9:30am), Panera Bread and Starbucks (every Sunday morning beginning at 7:00am). No sign up or registration needed you can just come out and volunteer.
Youth Ministry Volunteers Needed. If you are interested in serving in the youth ministry or working with the youth, please contact the interim youth Pastor Renee Robinson at 252-714-2009 via text message with your name and email information.
Call for Volunteers. If you like working in a garden, planting vegetables, growing fresh food, then we need you. It is time to start working in the Community Garden behind the Rosenwald School. If you would like to be a part of this endeavor, please contact the church office to have your name added to the list.
Corporate Prayer is every morning at 6:30 am and every evening at 6:30 pm. Corporate prayer is at 6:30 am; 12:00 noon and 6:30 pm on Wednesdays. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. The dial number is 717-908-1868. The Access code is 692342.

Act of Kindness: Adopt-A-Senior. Bring a personal touch to Seniors by directly providing them with some outside contact as well as with gifts to let them know they are loved and not forgotten. Will you adopt a senior? As an Adopter, you must be committed, obligated, dedicated, dependable and accountable to the senior you adopt. Whatever a senior’s needs you will be there to assist. If you are interested, please contact Betty Thomas, or call the Church Office.
Food Pantry is held every 1st & 3rd Thursday of the Month from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Produce Truck distribution is held every 3rd Monday of the Month starting at 9:30 am. For more information, please contact Deacon Wilbert Clark at 919-522-8012.

Counseling Ministry. Juniper Level Missionary Baptist Church now offers a no-cost, confidential Counseling Ministry. If you need of or know of someone that needs these services, the number is 919-664-0931. To ensure confidentiality, the sessions can only be scheduled by calling this number. A session cannot be scheduled through the Church Office.
