Pastor’s Appreciation Month. Juniper Level, October is Pastor Appreciation Month. It is a time to celebrate this awesome man of God and First Lady. The Pastor Aid ministry sums it best with this attached poem:

The Exchange. Attention men and male youth! Please join The Exchange for a special afternoon designed to bring the younger generation and the generation before them together for real conversations, fellowship, and fun! Come enjoy pizza, gaming consoles, and casual conversation as we bridge the generational gap and create meaningful connections. Different generations, same mission: learning from one another, building relationships, and making a difference together.

Africa 2027. Attention Juniper Level! There will be an interest meeting on Monday, October 12th @ 7:00 pm for the delegation to Africa from July 6th to July 16th. You can register for the meeting on the church website or the midweek announcements. All questions you may have will be answered at this meeting. So please be sure to be on this meeting if you wish to go to Africa in 2027.
Second Saturday Meetings. Leaders, the Second Saturday meetings will resume this Saturday, October 10th 2026. The Men will meet at 7:00 am. The Singles will meet at 8:00 am. Both of these meetings will be via zoom. The Leadership meeting will meet at 9:00 am at the Panther Branch Rosenwald School.
Community Giveaway.
The Panther Branch Rosenwald School 100-Year Celebration Community Giveaway is presented in partnership with Juniper Level Missionary Baptist Church and World Vision. The theme is “A Century of Legacy, A Day of Giving,” honoring the past by serving the community. The event will take place Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and is open to everyone. There will also be Rosenwald School tours, music, and food vendors. Activities will be held at Juniper Level Missionary Baptist Church, 9104 Sauls Road, Raleigh, NC 27603, and the Panther Branch Rosenwald School, 9109 Sauls Road, Raleigh, NC 27603. The celebration also commemorates 100 years, from 1926 to 2026, of the Panther Branch Rosenwald School. This event will require a lot of volunteers to ensure its success. If you have a willing heart please be sure to sign up to volunteer for this wonderful occasion. You can sign up on the church website or the midweek announcements. Souls to the Polls.
The “Souls to the Polls” community event will be on Sunday, October 18, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Families and community members are encouraged to participate during the early-voting period. The event begins at Martin Street Baptist Church, 1001 East Martin Street in Raleigh, followed by a march to the John Chavis Community Center, 505 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Raleigh. Free transportation will also be provided to and from the Chavis Community Center. The flyer notes that wooden sticks or similar items cannot be used as sign handles because of city code. Please be reminded that October 15 through October 31, 2026, is the early voting period. Whether you vote early or not, please just vote.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Juniper will observe Breast Cancer Awareness on Sunday, October 18th. Everyone is asked to please wear Pink on October 18th for all three services.
Domestic Violence Awareness Month. October is also Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Juniper Level MBC will observe Domestic Violence Awareness on Sunday, October 25th. Everyone is asked to please wear Purple on October 20th for all three services.
Attention Married Couples!!! There is a collaboration between Poplar Springs, Mount Peace and Juniper Level titled “Loving Through Generations”. Please “Let’s Hang Out” at First Cosmopolitan Baptist church event space. The address is 1515 Cross Link Road, Raleigh, NC. The Cost is $80 until 09/20/26 and then $100. To purchase tickets, please choose “Couples Ministry” on Shelby next or you can pay in person after each service. For more information, please contact Deaconess Robin Sanders or the church office.
5th Pastoral Anniversary. Juniper Level congregation is invited to join Same God, Same Grace Outreach Ministries as they celebrate the 5th Pastoral anniversary of Pastor Reggie Jones on October 18th @ 3:00 pm. The celebration will be at Juniper Level Missionary Baptist church. The guest speaker is our very own Pastor Jeffrey Robinson. Please join us as we celebrate this awesome woman of God.

Ongoing Announcements
Silent Testimony Ministry. Calling all youth and young adults! Come be a part of the Silent Testimony Mime Team Ministry and worship God with us through creative movements and/or flags. We meet on Monday nights 6:30 pm-8:00 pm. We would love to have you! For more information, please contact Shea Bethea at 919-827-2168.
Mass Choir has returned. The Mass Choir has returned, and choir practice is every Tuesday at 7:00 pm. Male Choir is every Tuesday at 8:00 pm. If you want to be a part of the choir, please come out and participate. You can join at any time.
Youth Church. Parents, Youth Church is every second Sunday at 11:00 am. The ages are K to 17. Youths in K to 3rd grade meet in the upstairs classroom at the church, while youths in 4th grade to 12th grade meet at the Panther Branch Rosenwald School. There is a lot of fun, laughter, and fellowship while they learn about God and the Bible. Parents, please bring your children to these exciting classes on the 2nd Sunday of each month.

Volunteers Needed. Volunteers are needed to help with the Produce Pickup/Community Hub (every 4th Thursday from 5:00pm-7:00pm & every 2nd Saturday from 12:00pm -2:00pm), Food Pantry (every 1st &3rd Thursday of the month 9:30am- 11:30am), Produce Truck (every 3rd Monday of the month starting at 9:30am), Panera Bread and Starbucks (every Sunday morning beginning at 7:00am). No sign up or registration needed you can just come out and volunteer.
Youth Ministry Volunteers Needed. If you are interested in serving in the youth ministry or working with the youth, please contact the interim youth Pastor Renee Robinson at 252-714-2009 via text message with your name and email information.
Call for Volunteers. If you like working in a garden, planting vegetables, growing fresh food, then we need you. It is time to start working in the Community Garden behind the Rosenwald School. If you would like to be a part of this endeavor, please contact the church office to have your name added to the list.
Corporate Prayer is every morning at 6:30 am and every evening at 6:30 pm. Corporate prayer is at 6:30 am; 12:00 noon and 6:30 pm on Wednesdays. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. The dial number is 717-908-1868. The Access code is 692342.

Act of Kindness: Adopt-A-Senior. Bring a personal touch to Seniors by directly providing them with some outside contact as well as with gifts to let them know they are loved and not forgotten. Will you adopt a senior? As an Adopter, you must be committed, obligated, dedicated, dependable and accountable to the senior you adopt. Whatever a senior’s needs you will be there to assist. Food Pantry is held every 1st & 3rd Thursday of the Month from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Produce Truck distribution is held every 3rd Monday of the Month starting at 9:30 am. For more information, please contact Deacon Wilbert Clark at 919-522-8012.

A session cannot be scheduled through the Church Office.
