Fourth Saturday Meetings are cancelled. Please note that all 4th Saturday meetings are cancelled this Saturday, April 27th. This is to include the Men’s meeting at 7:00 am; the Singles at 8:00 am and the Leadership meeting at 9:00 am.
Friends and Family Day. Attention JLMBC Family. Please invite your “Friends and Family” to join us on Sunday, April 28th for all three services. There will be 2 prizes given. One for the guest that travelled the furthest and the oldest guest member. The JLMBC member with the most guest will have the honor of having their name listed on the Friends and Family Day plaque.
World Vision 6k Global. The JLMBC Young Adults are partnering with World Vision to raise awareness to end the global water and sanitation crisis! Clean water changes Everything!!! Every Step you take is one they won’t have to. Walk, run, or roll 6k for water from wherever you are! Join our Team Today! Adults-$50; children (5-18 years) - $25; Children under 4 years – Free. Community News!
GBSC 2024 Mid-Year Session. The 2024 Mid-Year session of the GBSC will convene May 7th and 8th in Greenville, NC at the Greenville Convention Center. The session starts May 7 at 1:00 pm. There will be workshops on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning. Late night service is planned for Tuesday, May 7th at 9:00 pm. For more information, please contact the church office. The deadline to register is April 19th.
St. Matthew Baptist Church CDC Scholarship Opportunity. The St. Matthew Baptist Church CDC will offer a $600 scholarship to a 2024 Highs School Senior. If interested in the packet, please contact St. Matthew Baptist Church at 919-872-7647.

Silent Testimony Returns!! Calling all youths! Parents, if you have youth who wish to participate in Silent Testimony, please bring them to practice in the church Sanctuary on the fourth Saturdays, 3:00 pm and every Monday at 7:00 pm at JLMBC. Please contact Shea Bethea with any questions or concerns you may have at 919-827-2168.
Pearls with Purpose (formerly LIT: Ladies In Training) meet the third Saturdays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Juniper Level. This mentoring group is for girls ages 8yrs-18yrs old. Parents/Guardians if you have or know of any young lady who would like to sign up for this group, please contact Tammie Jackson at (919)395-6403.
L.O.T (Leaders of Today.) L.O.T (formerly MOP, Men of Purpose) meet the third Saturday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Juniper Level. This mentoring group is for boys ages 13yrs-18yrs old. Parents/Guardians if you have or know of any young men who would like to sign up for this group, please contact Eric Clark at 919-830-5765 or the Church Office.
Volunteers Needed. Volunteers are needed to help with the Produce Pickup/Community Hub (every 4th Thursday from 5:00pm-7:00pm & every 2nd Saturday from 12:00pm -2:00pm), Food Pantry (every 1st &3rd Thursday of the month 9:30am- 11:30am), Produce Truck (every 3rd Monday of the month starting at 9:30am), Panera Bread and Starbucks (every Sunday morning beginning at 7:00am). No sign up or registration needed you can just come out and volunteer.
Youth Ministry Volunteers Needed. If you are interested in serving in the youth ministry or working with the youth, please contact the interim youth Pastor Renee Robinson at 252-714-2009 via text message with your name and email information.
Call for Volunteers. If you like working in a garden, planting vegetables, growing fresh food, then we need you. It is time to start working in the Community Garden behind the Rosenwald School. If you would like to be a part of this endeavor, please contact the church office to have your name added to the list.

Act of Kindness: Adopt-A-Senior. Bring a personal touch to Seniors by directly providing them with some outside contact as well as with gifts to let them know they are loved and not forgotten. Will you adopt a senior? As an Adopter, you must be committed, obligated, dedicated, dependable and accountable to the senior you adopt. Whatever a senior’s needs you will be there to assist. Food Pantry is held every 1st & 3rd Thursday of the Month from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Produce Truck distribution is held every 3rd Monday of the Month starting at 9:30 am. For more information, please contact Deacon Wilbert Clark at 919-522-8012.

Counseling Ministry. Juniper Level Missionary Baptist Church now offers a no-cost, confidential Counseling Ministry. If you need of or know of someone that needs these services, the number is 919-664-0931. To ensure confidentiality, the sessions can only be scheduled by calling this number. A session cannot be scheduled through the Church Office.
